I specialize in writing design specifications, end-user documentation, and content. Designs can include new features in existing interfaces as well as giving old interfaces a fresh look, with pixel-perfect screen mockups and comprehensive business logic—everything developers need to implement an enhancement. A natural extension of this is documenting standards for consistency across entire product lines.
Years spent in high-volume support call centers has provided me with an understanding of end users that goes into every piece of documentation I write. I thrive on the process of studying a complex feature while creating the easiest path to understanding for others.
In addition to software, I am able to write knowledgeably on several topics of personal interest. These include automotive, science, space, fitness, real estate, and personal finance.
